Arriving with the aim of gaining experience at national level, TFA instead showed that they deserve to compete with the best academies in Indonesia.

Qualifying for the national finals was the fruit of TFA's impressive performances at East Java level.

The U-18 team finished as regional champions and the U-15 team as runners-up, making TFA the only academy from Surabaya to reach the national finals.

Across 12 matches, Tigers FA won 10, drew one and lost one, scoring 47 goals and conceding only 10.

After a 10-day training camp, both teams travelled to Kudus with real determination to measure themselves against the best opponents from around the country.

Although a national title did not come home, the performances of both teams were proof of the rapid progress of TFA's girls' football development.

Throughout the tournament, both the U-18 and U-15 teams showed competitiveness, discipline and a growing match mentality.

The experience of facing the country's leading teams is important capital for the academy as it prepares the next generation of women's footballers.

The results in Kudus are fresh motivation for TFA to keep raising the quality of its coaching and to strengthen its position as one of Indonesia's fastest-growing girls' football academies.

Taking part in the national finals further cements Tigers Football Academy's standing as one of the fastest-growing girls' football academies in Indonesia.

TFA is now preparing a range of development programmes: expanding its girls' football coaching, establishing a Centre of Excellence, increasing education support, opening a pathway to university scholarships in the United States, and planning a professional women's team.

Preparations for the HydroPlus National Soccer League 2026/2027 season have also begun, including the chance for new players to join through a selection process.

TFA also thanks the HydroPlus National Soccer League, the Djarum Foundation, the organising committee, volunteers, sponsors and all supporters who made the first national finals a success and gave girls' football in Indonesia room to grow.
