Surabaya | Arema FC Women's effort to close the gap on league leaders Tigers Football Academy fell short in week four of the Surabaya edition of the HYDROPLUS Soccer League U-18 Girls. Although both teams won convincingly without conceding, the top of the table did not change: Tigers Football Academy stay firmly first, with Arema FC Women second.

Arema FC Women recorded a convincing win in week four, beating Putri Meta 6-0. Putri Septya Dwi Sugianto and Oktavia Safara Putri each scored twice, dominating up front, and Aeni Rahma Chamelia and Dian Annisa added one apiece for Agustina Indah Mahardika's side.

Six unanswered goals were still not enough to shift Tigers Football Academy, who took a positive result the same week with a 3-0 win over Srikandi Mojopahit FC. The match was tight in the first half, both teams trading attacks and going in goalless at the break.

In the second half Tigers Football Academy were more aggressive and took control. Sustained pressure brought three goals, from Dhia Putri Kriswati, Rara Anindita and Haviva Oktaditya, extending their run to four straight wins.

Tigers Football Academy therefore stay top of the provisional table on 12 points, with Arema FC Women second on nine. The three-point gap goes back to the head-to-head in week two, when Tigers Football Academy edged Arema FC Women 3-2 in this girls' league run jointly by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and HYDROPLUS.

Srikandi Mojopahit FC and Putri Meta are still without a win after four rounds and remain in the bottom two places, each with a single point from one draw and three defeats.
