A friendly bushwalking club in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Graded day walks every weekend, overnight pack walks, track care days, and a walk leader and back marker on every walk.
Blue Gum Bushwalkers started with a handful of friends walking the Blue Mountains tracks on Sunday mornings. Today we run a full walks programme, from easy Grade 1 strolls to long Grade 4 days in the wilderness.
Every walk has a leader at the front and a back marker at the rear, so nobody is left behind. New walkers are always welcome: come on a couple of walks as a visitor, then join.
Graded walks every Saturday and Sunday in the Blue Mountains, Royal National Park and Ku-ring-gai Chase, plus a midweek walk for those who can.
Overnight and weekend pack walks, from the Six Foot Track to the Wild Dog Mountains. Small groups, limited places and a waitlist when they fill.
Four track care days a year with the national parks rangers: clearing drains, cutting back overgrowth and picking up what others leave behind.
